Wood Day info
Wood Day is an annual nationwide event that brings together professionals in wood construction, industry and trade representatives, as well as municipal and construction sector professionals and decision-makers. During the event, you will gain up-to-date information about wood construction and have the opportunity to network with other industry actors.
This year, Wood Day celebrates its 30th anniversary in a renewed format, as the sector’s largest annual meeting place will be organized for the first time as an expanded 1.5-day event. The revamped concept offers even more networking opportunities, topical presentations, and chances for companies to showcase their expertise to industry professionals.
Wood Day 2026 will take place as a 1.5-day event at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Siipi) on Wednesday, November 11 from 13:00 to 17:00 and Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 8:30 to 17:00.
- On Wednesday, a half-day anniversary seminar will be held, inviting national, municipal, and corporate decision-makers as well as other key stakeholders. The seminar will bring together approximately 400 participants and serve as a distinguished forum for discussions on the future of the industry.
- The main Wood Day event on Thursday will attract well over 1,000 participants—in 2025, the event saw as many as 1,400 registered attendees. Alongside Wood Day, the Puumarkkinapäivä (Wood Market Day) seminar, aimed at industry professionals, will also be held. Wood Day is organized by Puuinfo Oy.

Participants can explore the products and services of Wood Day partners in the exhibition area and during the seminars.
