Conference get-together dinner 15th May, Helsinki

An official conference get-together dinner will held be on 15 May in Solo Sokos Hotel Pier 4, a CLT building to be commissioned in autumn 2024. The building will be as part of a masterpiece of Finnish wooden architecture. In addition to the street-level restaurant, the impressive whole will have a roof terrace, from which the seascape of Helsinki opens from a beautiful angle. The cozy cafe in the lobby also has eye-catching sea views. In addition to seafaring, responsibility, closeness to nature and strong Finnish know-how are visible throughout the entire line.

Sauli Kemppainen, awarded with a Michelin star, will be the restaurant manager. He has lived in seven different countries. Before returning to Finland, he ran the SAVU restaurant in Berlin, which achieved a Michelin star.

– When the frames and external setting of the Pier 4 hotel become completely unique, the culinary experience must also be on the same level, i.e. distinctive and daring. In the feel of the future restaurant, you can sense relaxation, care and that we are there for the comfort of the customers. The food will be clear, easy to understand and we will always put taste first, says Sauli Kemppainen.
