Building bricks out of wood
The TRIQBRIQ building system consists of wooden building blocks, or BRIQs if you will, that are manufactured from inexpensive recycled or surplus wood using robotics. At the construction site, the individual wooden BRIQs are stacked on top of each other and locked together with wooden dowels. The frame system needs no glue or metal fasteners, which makes the construction of load-bearing external walls cost-effective, flexible, and quick, and when the building reaches the end of its service life, the BRIQs can be dismantled and completely reused.

These wooden BRIQs can form a solid wood wall up to 30 cm thick. The WS30 system consists of three distinct parts, each with a height and depth of 30 cm. The standard lengths are 30, 60, and 240 cm, with the longest intended for placement above door and window openings and the shortest for use as filler pieces. (triqbriq.de)
