CrossLam Kuhmo started production at the new extension to its CLT manufacturing facility in Kuhmo
On March 15th, Oy CrossLam Kuhmo Ltd started production at the new extension to its CLT manufacturing facility in Kuhmo. This investment doubles Crosslam’s annual manufacturing capacity.
“We are proud to bring one of Northern Europe’s most modern and customer-oriented CLT production lines to Finland’s Kainuu region. This investment enables our company to develop alongside the rapidly growing wood construction market and strengthens our position as a domestic solid wood product manufacturer”, says Jukka Silvennoinen, CEO.
The investment was assisted by the Kainuu region Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre) and Finnvera. Oy Crosslam Kuhmo Ltd is Finland’s first CLT manufacturer and began production in Kuhmo in 2014.
